To me, digital history is important because of the preservation of information. In this day and age with so much information being accessible at the push of a button, it is important that we find a way to determine an accurate analysis of digital history. It is a part of the world that is only going to keep improving so properly understanding it is key for historians and, ideally everyone. One of the main things I learned from this semester was a lot more about AI. It is a rapidly evolving phenomenon and the more we learn the more powerful. I realize it is this semester that has taught me to be cautious of the progression. It has also taught me more practical means of presenting historical information through visualizations. I would recommend others taking this course.
